L'attimo decisivo - I don't take risks campaign
L'attimo decisivo (The decisive moment) is the comic created by the Italian Department of Civil Protection as part of the national "Io non rischio" (I don't take risks) communication campaign.
The comic tells the story of Samira, Carlo, Katja and Paolo, four teenagers aged between 11 and 14 who find themselves facing the consequences of an earthquake, a flood, a tsunami and a forest fire and having to carry out decisive choices to save themselves and others. The Risk Equation is the narrator of the events and antagonist of the four teenagers. The Risk Equation is indeed a powerful and apparently invincible enemy that can only be countered thanks to the power of awareness and knowledge of good civil protection practices, a "power" that potentially it is available to everyone.
L'attimo decisivo is being distributed in all lower secondary schools in Italy, with the aim of raising awareness among the new generations on civil protection issues.
