The Empolese Valdelsa Civil Protection Plan is now online

A consistent and coherent response to emergencies, but also coordinated information, awareness-raising, and training activities among the municipalities of the Empolese Valdelsa area.

Following approval by the Union Council in recent months, the 11 administrations approved the update to the Inter-municipal Civil Protection Plan in their respective municipal councils. The plan describes the types and scenarios of risks affecting our territories, broken down in detail for each municipality, as well as identifying areas for waiting, reception, and assembly of rescue workers and resources

This latest update highlights two important new developments:

The first concerns the agreement with Save the Children, with the aim of adapting the emergency plan with a particular focus on the youngest members of our population, committing the parties to collaborate with each other in both planning and supporting our youngest citizens

The other important new development concerns the usability of the Plan, which makes its strategic elements available to our communities on a webGIS platform just a click away. Thanks to the collaboration with Anci Toscana, the citizens of Empolese Valdelsa will be able to view their Civil Protection plans on the web by connecting to this linkAnyone can easily check the risks affecting the places where they live, work, study, or stay, and can obtain information on the nearest waiting area to go to in case of emergency
